ExpoTunnel is the exhibition dedicated to the world of tunneling, drilling, mining, underground construction and research. The third edition takes place in Bologna-Italy on October 19-21, 2016.
It is an opportunity to meet in a global framework of supply and demand of high technology and its field applications, with the chance to learn new methods, access state-of-the-art techniques and face the world market.

ExpoTunnel is Italy's first meeting place for companies and the world of engineering professionals, called to Bologna from an updated and qualified scientific appointments. A comprehensive and strongly qualified exhibition section, is enriched and supported by highly specialized moments of scientific technical information, guaranteed by the collaboration with Italian Tunnelling Society and the specific associations of the sector.

Planetek Italia will participate with a booth (Hall 22, stand C25), bringing its time tested expertise in Earth observation service and technologies to organizations and professionals working in this application field.

In this context, Planetek Italia will showcase its new cloud platform Rheticus® Displacement, which is designed to detect and monitor millimetric movements of ground surface, aimed at monitoring landslides and subsidence, and the stability of infrastructures.

By using satellite data, such as the European Copernicus Sentinels, together with Cosmo-SkyMed, TerraSAR-X and Radarsat,  Rheticus® Displacement is a perfect tool to provide accurate data and information, supporting organizations to have a continuous overview and alert over areas subject to landslides and subsidence and affecting the stability of infrastructures.
