Copernicus and territory monitoring: workshop with EEA organized by ISPRA will be held on Tuesday, 15 May 2018 in Roma, Sala Polifunzionale, Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri.

Planetek Italia will join the event with a presentation titled "Evolution of CLMS Downstream Services: The Rheticus Solution".

This is one of the meetings organized by the Copernicus National Users Forum at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. The appointment scheduled for May is with the European Environment Agency (EEA). In addition to being responsible for the development of the in-situ component of Copernicus, the Agency is among the coordinators of the Land Monitoring Service, one of the six main services provided by the Program. The Copernicus Land Service offers an effective support for territorial planning, forest management and water resources, agriculture and sustainable exploitation of ecosystem services.

After an overview on products and services available under the umbrella of the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS) provided by the European Program Coperncius, managed by the EEA, some of National Interventions will be presented by ASI, DST-UNIFI, ISPRA, CNR, Planetek and eGEOS.
