Planetek signs the Zero Debris Charter

Planetek has signed the Zero Debris Charter, the initiative promoted by the European Space Agency "to implement a Zero Debris approach for its missions; and to encourage partners and other actors to pursue similar paths, thereby collectively putting Europe at the forefront of sustainability on Earth and in space".

Planetek is already one of the signatories of the Statement for a Responsible Space Sector, since 2022, and firmly believes in this approach and goal.

What does it mean and how will we honor our commitment?

As a Benefit Company, we are strongly committed to reducing our impact on the environment.
FUrthermore, this commitment is implemented in our space systems and software, such as our SpacEdge tools and mission control systems, which are designed to allow satellites to have smarter, longer, and safer flights in space.

The signature ceremony was held during the ESA Industry Space Days at ESA ESTEC in The Netherlands.
