Planetek Italia's CEO, Giovanni Sylos Labini will join the panel, chaired by Emilio Cozzi, to discuss about the future trends in Space and EO sector, with a focus on the current and future opportunities Italian and European space programmes can bring to all space and non-space stakeholders.

The Mediterranean Aerospace Matching is an international business convention dealing with the future of the aerospace sector, with a focus on the Mediterranean area. A three-day event, with exhibitions, conferences, round tables, b2b meetings and flight demonstrations, that will gather in Puglia at the "Marcello Arlotta" airport of Taranto-Grottaglie from 20 to 22 March 2024, sector experts, policymakers, leading national and international industrial groups, start-ups and young students and professionals, to discuss the next challenges in the fields of Advanced Air Mobility and space transportation systems and draw new perspectives in the field of unmanned aircraft and Innovative Aerial Services.

Planetek Italia was invited as a member of the Technological Aerospace Cluster (DTA scarl) and is present with a stand and with speeches to showcase its latest solutions developed along the different segments of the Space and Earth observation value chain, including satellite and drone / UAV applications, such as:

Space Mission Analysis and Design;
Development of software for on-board payload data processing and for ground segment infrastructures for both EO and planetary missions;
Software for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and Satellite Telemetry Monitoring;
Space Weather;
Cyber security in UAS missions;
Satellite, aerial and drone data-driven geoanalytics and geoinformation services in the field of urban planning, civil protection and emergency response, marine coastal monitoring and protection, security and defence, as well as in the markets of utilities, energy, transport and infrastructures (Rheticus Geoanalytics and information as a service).

A special focus will be dedicated to the dissemination of ongoing developments and outcomes of the Italian IRIDE satellite constellation and the SpaceLab of the ASI space center in Matera.

The event is composed of several working areas: Exhibition, conferences, one-to-one meetings, careers event, unmanned aerial system (uas) flight demos.
