Held in Munich, Germany, from November 5th to 7th, 2013 the European Space Solutions conference is the event organized by the European Commission and the European GNSS Agency in several European cities.
The meeting has been joined by private companies, Public Administrations, users and developers of space-based solutions.
The main goals of the event was to discuss about state of the art in this sector, with an insight on current developments and how space-based solution can contribute to the grotwth. Moreover participants will learn about business and financial opportunities and how to benefit from space technologies in their business.
The Opening Plenary session, has been opened by Antonio Tajani, Vice President of the European Commission, the Bavarian Ministers, DLR and GNSS Agencies Directors, and has been followed by a round table session on "opportunities of GMES-Copernicus and Galileo/EGNOS programmes", which partecipated also Giovanni Sylos Labini, CEO di Planetek Italia.
The European Space Solutions event has been complemented by the installation of the European Space Expo, a 300 m2 travelling interactive public exhibition showcasing the many ways that the European Space Programme, and its flagship projects for satellite navigation (Galileo and EGNOS) and earth monitoring (Copernicus), are improving life on Earth.
